I always called him Bazemore. His sense of humor was immense.
Bazemore, we will miss you.

Rock Hill is not the same without Jimmy and his news stand. I took my daughter into his store a few years before he died. Jimmy constantly kept "bugging" my daughter with his funny remarks the whole time we were in there. Of course, she didn't know why until we checked out and he told her that he had gone to school with her mom. When we walked out, she said, "Mom, you should have told me! I couldn't figure out what that man was doing!"

Enjoy your peace, Jimmy; you have a better life now.

It's very sad--he was always nice and gracious and witty, and I miss seeing him at the Newstand when I get down to Rock Hill. Altho he is in a better place, it is our loss.
